Robert Violette, baritone, (2004-09) was invited to write an article for Classical Singer Magazine; it appeared in January, 2005. Robert has been invited to present a workshop on vocal technique at the New Jersey Music Educators' Conference in East Brunswick in February. Bob has spent much of his time traveling around the state this year giving professional development workshops to music faculties in several school districts. On his "days off" he sang leading roles in concert versions of Faust, Anna Bolena, and Fidelio. Currently he is preparing the role of Orest in Strauss' Elektra.
