Cecelia Tepping, soprano, (2002) had a beautiful baby girl, Hannah Ruth, born December 29th 2002 at 10:12 pm. (In the Book of Samuel, Hannah is the name of the mother of the prophet Samuel and of course we all know that Ruth is the name of the faithful daughter-in-law of Naomi.) Cecelia will be singing the roles of Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Despina (Cosi fan tutte) and the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflaute) in concerts in NYC this season. Cecelia has given birth again to Maya. But she is not too busy to find time to continue singing and record her first demo. In 2007, she performed an opera with Garden State Opera under the direction of Francesco Santelli, Assisi Composer in Residence 2002-03. In 2008, Cecilia performed in an Assisi Festival Benefit Concert directed by Robert Violette that was held in Trenton, NJ.
