Francesco Santelli, composer, (2002-04) received a grant from the Passaic County Heritage and Cultural Council to produce a performance of his Opera "il Poverello" scheduled for the Fall of 2003. He has composed an Organ Concerto (at the suggestion of organist Joyce Jones) which was performed at the Festival. The University of Bridgeport has invited Francesco to put on a production of "il Poverello" in Bridgeport. Also, he has composed a new opera entitled "The Marriage Counselor".
